The unit, TLIH3002 Plan and navigate routes, requires you to plan and navigate routes as part of transport operations, in accordance with relevant state/territory roads and traffic authority regulations.

It includes interpreting information from a road map, street directory or global positioning system (GPS) device; planning the most appropriate route taking into account pertinent factors; and completing required trip documentation in accordance with operational requirements.    Work may have been performed under limited or minimum supervision.
