NSW – Smart and Skilled

Smart and Skilled is a form of Government supported vocational training in NSW. It is about giving people in NSW the skills they need to find a job and advance their careers.

Smart and Skilled provides eligible students with:

  • an entitlement to government-subsidised training up to and including Certificate III
  • government funding for higher-level courses (Certificate IV and above) in targeted priority areas.

Qualifications we offer under the Smart and Skilled Program:

Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations

This is a qualification for those engaged in supply chain operations and includes specialisations for logistics and warehousing operations.

Job Seeker Recognised

Training with UTS meets job seekers obligations and earns the job seeker 20 points per week for 15 hours or more of training, or 15 points per week for less than 15 hours of training.

Access to Government Funding

UTS is a Smart and Skilled approved training provider and can access funding to support your training cost in NSW.

Student Eligibility for Smart and Skilled

To enrol for Smart and Skilled training you need to meet certain conditions. To check if you are eligible to enrol in a course/traineship please complete the eligibility questionnaire below and a UTS representative will contact you shortly.
